Karine (ka-ree-nah) Swenson is a visual artist living in the high desert of Southern California, near Joshua Tree National Park.  She paints in oil, watercolor and pastel.  Her abstract, or non-representational paintings are a visual exploration of color and form.  She also has a life-long interest in painting and drawing the human figure.  There are many facets to the work of this artist.
