Experimentation

This new series explores mystery, elusiveness and freedom. In contrast to my work from the past number of years, I wanted this new paintings to have a lot of movement. I am still exploring layers of translucent color, but I'm using the color and the brushwork in much different ways. The new year has brought all kinds of new changes and challenges, and this new body of work reflects that.
