When out walking in the desert, one will discover many things that have been discarded, and are beginning to deteriorate in the elements.  Often, a curious person will feel compelled to pick up some of these old, decaying items.  The next thing you know, they are becoming a part of the paintings in progress in the studio.  These paintings all have incorporated other random objects found while walking in the desert with the fuzzy studio assistant, Pono the dog.  Rusted metal, pieces of paper, paint chips, and other items which are remnants of other desert dwellers have become the symbols of human beings in these paintings.
